Tour de Taco is a social bicycling event that involves groups of cyclists riding to locally owned restaurants to eat tacos! The goals of the event are to build the confidence of cyclists riding around town, promote safe and responsible riding, increase the visibility of cyclists following the rules of the road, and support local businesses.
Proceeds from the event will go towards Bike BloNo’s advocacy efforts, which are focused on safety and expansion of on-street bike routes in the community.
Tour de Taco will be on Saturday, Sept 15, 2018. Check-in starts at 10:00 AM. Opening speakers, followed by a safety briefing, will begin at 11:00 AM. The first pod will be released around 11:15 AM. The "tour" will last approximately five hours (varies by pod; see Pods & Routes below).
